Small tree 4 m tall, in understory of 30-year-old secondary forest. Calyx tube light green, pubescent. Corolla lobes contorted, similar to typical Apocynaceae. Corolla lobes white. Corolla tube yellow inside, this evident at the throat of the tube. Flower quite showy, a potential as cultivated ornamental.
