Tree to 6 m tall, 6 cm dbh; copious red sap from pith and cut bark; indument lepidote; abundant staminate and pistillate flowers; abaxial surface of leaves densely lepidote, adaxial surface nearly glabrous. Same species as Van Ee 2199, 2200, & 2202 ("Croton plurispicatus Berry et al. ined.").

Tree to 3 m tall, 6 cm dbh; numerous pistillate flowers; clear orange sap. Individual looks like a hybrid between Van Ee 2201 (C. submetallicus) and Van Ee 2202 (C. plurispicatus), which are growing nearby.
